GMF Match Day

RiverCenter Atrium and Stock-House Lobby, Open To The Public

March 19, 2015 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Far too many individuals and families within our community struggle to meet their basic needs like food and shelter. The Greater Milwaukee Foundation launched Match Day in 2012 to raise awareness about their struggle and raise support for the organizations that serve so many of our neighbors in need. Over the past three years, more than 13,000 generous individuals have rallied behind these organizations and raised more than $7.6 million to strengthen their capacity to serve.

Learn more about the work this year’s participating nonprofits are doing by clicking on the link below. You can support the causes you care about by scheduling a donation in advance or making an online gift on March 19, 2015 to one or more of the agencies.

On March 19, 2015, simply log on to, search for the agency you wish to support and make a debit or credit card gift of $10 or more. A pool of funds will be available to match online contributions and grow the impact of a donor’s gift. The gifts will be matched proportionately, based on the total amount raised by each organization that day. All donations are tax deductible and nonrefundable.

If you don’t have a computer, GMF will have them available at tables in the RiverCenter and Stock-House.
