Healthy Super Bowl Eating Recipes
The team at Schlitz Park Cafe: Creative Dining and Catering by Davians and Salus Corporate Wellness recently hosted a Healthy Cooking Demo focused on healthy Super Bowl eating.
The team focused on common foods served at a Super Bowl party, then “skinnied” down the recipes using lower fat ingredients such as all white meat chicken breast and loads of veggies (onions, peppers, tomatoes, and beans). They also baked flour tortillas using no fat instead of the high fat tortilla chips commonly used.
Tasters gave high marks for all dishes but the most popular was the baked chips.
